View of chateau from the garden courtyard.  Built mostly under Charles VIII. The Minimes Tower (big, round tower at right) contains a spiral ramp which allowed horsemen to enter. Detail showing gargoyles on top of a Flamboyant Gothic church, originally the Queen's oratory in the Chateau Amboise.  Leonardo Da Vinci is buried here. View of the chateau from the 16C designed gardens.  Shows some influence of the French Renaissance.  Commissioned by Jean le Breton, Secretary of State to François I.
