Zurenborg District (page 1 of 5)
Oblique Front Elevation Edouard Osy and John Cogels were the developers of this residential area of the Zurenborg District at the turn of the 19th Century. Cogels-Osy Lei is the main street that bears their names and forms the core of the development. The lovely Art Nouveau row house at the center of the photo dates to 1904 and is one of many in the area. The architect was Jacques de Weerdt, one of the more prolific Art Nouveau designers in the vicinity. Photo taken in 1982 by Howard J. Partridge.
