Old United States Capitol Building Columns (page 1 of 1)
Old U.S. Capitol Column Sculpture, erected in 1988. Russell Page designed this sculptural grouping of Neoclassical columns in 1984. The columns originally graced the central portico of the East Front of the U.S. Capitol Building. They were removed when that area of the capitol was redesigned and extended between 1958 and 1962. Photo by Howard J. Partridge, taken in 1990.
